New Rotax Junior CNC Engines IKD wishes to announce that at the recent AKA National Conference it was determined that Junior Rotax engines fitted with the new CNC machined Junior Rotax cylinder (part number 223994) will be fully eligible for use as of 1st January 2010. 30-06-09

PERFECT WEEKEND FOR PEARCE IN CIK ROUND TWO For many years Tyson Pearce has been highly regarded in Australian karting circles and he confirmed this status with a dominant display during Round Two of the Australian CIK Championship, held alongside the Rotax Pro Tour, at Melbourne's VACC Park over the weekend. 30-06-09

Vale - John Buggy The hearts of the karting community are saddened by the news of the passing of John Buggy father of Joshua Buggy and Kyle Buggy. 29-06-09

STATEMENT FROM THE BUGGY FAMILY John Buggy, father of young karters Joshua and Kyle, was tragically killed in an accident at his workplace on Saturday 27 June. 29-06-09

European KZ1 championship - Very Open Competition At the end of the qualifying races of the European KZ1 championship which is being held this weekend at Wackersdorf in Germany, a pattern is beginning to emerge: the races are particularly open and it is difficult to make any forecast. Bas Lammers, Norman Nato and Jonathan Thonon are best placed, but there are several other drivers capable of making the podium and even taking the European crown. 28-06-09

SERA TAKES STUNNING ROTAX PRO TOUR WIN IN MELBOURNE Melbournes David Sera put together arguably the drive of his career to take victory in the Rotax Pro Tour Skyline Cup at VACC Park today, coming from the rear of the field to take his second successive Rotax Pro Tour victory, whilst Tyson Pearce 'clean sweeped' the weekend in the Australian CIK Championships. 28-06-09

ROTAX PRO TOUR SKYLINE CUP INVADES MELBOURNE! The Rotax Pro Tour Skyline Cup ignited Melbourne's VACC Park today when Australia's leading kart racers met on the tight city-side circuit. Picking up from the opening event in Newcastle, David Sera dominated the Light category, with Queenslands William Yarwood proving tough in Rotax Heavy. Meantime, South Australia's Tyson Pearce is having a solid weekend - undefeated in the three Australian CIK Championship races held today. 26-06-09

NSW Twilight State Title Glory Up for Grabs The drivers from the respective Saturday Night Go Kart Series and the National Karting Alliance (NKA) Super Go Kart Series will come together as one this Saturday night (June 27) at Wollongong City Raceway to battle it out for the victory honours in the 2009 NSW Twilight State Go Kart Title. 25-06-09

CIK-FIA EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP RETURNS TO WACKERSDORF Ten years after having hosted its first and still only CIK-FIA European Championship, the ProKart Raceland circuit of Wackersdorf, in Germany, is getting ready to receive the elite of 125cc gearbox kart drivers on 25-28 June 2009. 24-06-09

AUSTRALIA'S BEST KARTERS IN ACTION IN MELBOURNE THIS WEEK Many of the country's top line kart racers will be in Melbourne later this week (Friday and Saturday) for the second round of the Australian CIK Championship, held alongside the Rotax Pro Tour, at VACC Park in Port Melbourne. 24-06-09
